Senior Estimator Full Time

Our client, a large company with offices in the UK and Ireland are looking for a Senior Estimator for their Bedhill office in Scotland.

What you will need:
• Strong experience in estimating large-scale building projects
• Expertise in Frameworks and negotiated contracts
• Ability to price from first principles and prepare detailed cost plans
• Excellent knowledge of construction technology and engineering designs
• Proficiency in Conquest Estimating System and On-Screen Take-Off
• Degree or HND in a relevant field is desirable however not essential

Responsibilities:
• Preparing and reviewing tenders, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
• Engage with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to negotiate best-value pricing
• Lead the estimating process from project inception to final submission
• Develop cost plans and analyse contract budgets
• Support the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective sourcing of materials and subcontractor services
• Collaborate with Senior Management and provide strategic input into bids and proposals
• Manage estimating elements across multiple projects at various stages
• Assist in training and mentoring junior estimators and graduates
