Senior Geotechnical Engineer Full Time

Our client, a medium company with offices across the UK are looking for Senior Geotechnical Engineer for their Cardiff office in Wales.

What you will need:
• Relevant Engineering degree.
• 4-5+ years’ experience.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport would be useful but not imperative.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK and high standard of written and spoken English.
• Experience in the design of temporary works would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:
• Design of geotechnical structures in the temporary and permanent case.
• Design of civil and structural schemes.
• providing input into schemes designed by other disciplines.
• Review and checks of other schemes prepared by others.
• Carrying out inspections and surveys of geotechnical structures.
• Undertaking feasibility / option studies and other reports.
• Working with cognisance to project programmes.
• Providing guidance and training to more junior staff members where applicable.
