Senior Geo-environmental Consultant Full Time

Our client, a medium company with offices across the UK are looking for a Senior Geo-environmental Consultant for their Stockport office in England.

What you will need:
• A BSc, BEng, or higher qualification in a relevant subject (geology, civil engineering, environmental science, etc).
• 2-3 years of experience in a geo-environmental consultancy role.
• Good working knowledge of relevant and up-to-date British Standards (e.g., BS EN 5930), Industry Guidance (e.g., EA LC:RM), and NHBC Standards.
• Proficiency in supervising, reporting, and managing geo-environmental assignments.
• Experience in monitoring gas and groundwater levels and conducting groundwater sampling.
• Current CSCS card.
• SSSTs or IOSH equivalent site supervisor certificate.
• First Aid training.
• Cat and Genny training.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities:
• Manage client projects.
• Be involved in Phase 1 & 2 report writing, Coal Mining Risk Assessments, Remediation Strategies, Validation Reports, and Geotechnical Assessments.
• Key Responsibilities
• Supervision, reporting, and management of geo-environmental assignments.
• Monitoring of gas and groundwater levels and groundwater sampling.
• Liaison with sub-contractors and clients to assist in project delivery.
• Technical report writing, including Desk Studies and Ground Investigation Reports.
• Ensuring Health and Safety compliance for ground investigations.
