Road Design Engineer Full Time

Our client, a large consulting company with offices across the UK and Ireland, is looking for a Road Design Engineer to join their growing team in Dundalk!

What you will need:
• Relevant experience in a consultancy environment.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Computer literate and with experience of relevant design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads etc).
• Knowledge of relevant design standard and ability to translate this knowledge into practical, buildable and value for money designs.
• Experience in design and build projects.
• Experience in planning and design of road schemes (preferably in Ireland) including feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design, statutory processes, preparation of contract documents, contact administration and construction supervision.
• Full Irish / EU driving licence.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Planning and design of road, rail, public transport and active travel projects throughout Ireland, input to statutory processes (EIAR, CPO etc), procurement processes, preparation of contract documents, contract administration and construction supervision.
